Evolution of Publishing Technologies

Abstract
The last 10 years have seen enormous change and dramatic upheaval within the online publishing world. This presentation will provide an overview of where we have been, where we are and, hopefully, where we might be going. There will be a chance to look at some of the many recent developments within the STM publishing community as it moves from the Web 1.0 to the Web 2.0 world. A summary will offer an opportunity for further discussion on ways to improve the utility of online content and ultimately create an intuitive and truly useful experience for anyone wishing to find, interact with, and use our content.
