2008 Assembly of Society Officers
As an umbrella society with 10 Member Societies and 23 Affiliated Societies, the American Institute of Physics (AIP) is continually seeking ways to support the missions and goals of our societies and of the physics community. The Assembly of Society Officers is one very effective means by which AIP informs its Member and Affiliated Societies about important issues in science policy and trends in scientific publishing.
