Marketing Intern - NY

Essential functions

Assist with specific projects to develop customer and prospect contact information; help with daily social media posts; deploy email blasts; update email campaign and ToC alert reports monthly, assist with updating marketing collateral and develop conference marketing plans; organize and pack materials for all librarian and scientific conferences.  Proof marketing copy for promotion of products and services on website and social networking sites. Post tweets and review email tests.

  • Work with Marketing Manager and Exhibits Coordinator to draft conference marketing plans.  Once plans have been finalized print out promotional materials and pack for upcoming conferences accordingly.
  • Support overall functions of marketing department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be detail-oriented and internet-savvy, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and be adept at quickly learning new software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
