AIP: A Federation of the Physical Sciences
Member Societies
Representing the spectrum of the physical sciences, AIP's ten Member Societies are the backbone of the Institute. AIP supports them with professional services, additional benefits for their members, and competitively-priced benefits to their employees upon request.
At the annual Assembly of Society Officers, Member Societies convene to discuss topics of mutual concern.
In addition, through the Institute, the societies find a unified voice for influencing public policy and for advancing the public’s understanding of science.
