Corporate Associates: Special eventsMatthew W. Ganz, Ph. D.
Previously, Ganz was Sector Vice President, Strategy and Technology, for Northrop Grumman Integrated Systems. He was the Chief Technology Officer for the Sector and was responsible for long-range/operational planning processes. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Navigator Technology Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund that invests in technology-based start-up companies. He served as Vice President for Technology and Vice President for Programs at the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory. He also worked for the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA) as Director of the Sensor Technology Office. Previously Ganz was an Associate Group Leader for the MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and a Staff Member at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. Ganz received a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has served as a member or chairperson of several Defense Science Board and Air Force Scientific Advisory Board panels. He has also served on the Board of Directors of three companies, in addition to his position on the Board of Directors of HRL. |
