Educational Software Contest |
The annual Computers in Physics Educational Software Contest, which ran for nine years from 1990 to 1998,
had the purpose of supporting the physics community through the promotion of excellence in educational
software. The American Association
of Physics Teachers generously reserved a special session at its annual winter
meetings for the presentation of these awards.
The following year-by-year listings name the contest entrants who took
prizes and honorable mentions. The listings include thumbnail
descriptions of the software and links to the authors' web sites.
More details can be found in the Computers
in Physics article referenced at the top of each listing.
The contest is continuing under the auspices of Computing in Science and
Engineering.
