Computerized Scanner Helps Radiologists Spot Signs of Breast Cancer

Medical physicists have developed a new computerized scanner that aids radiologists in screening mammograms. The FDA approved device mathematically searchers for patterns that could indicate cancer and alerts the radiologist to take a second look.
