Better CAT Scans for Cancer

Radiation Oncologists Use Large-Bore CT Scan to Better Map and Treat Cancer

Radiation oncologists are now using a large-bore CT scan to more accurately map and treat cancer. The scan works just like a typical CT scan, but the opening in the scanner is much larger to help patients get into the optimal position for their scan.
