Neurologists Use New MRI Technique to Spot Bleeding

A new MRI technique called susceptibility weighted imaging (SWI) helps neurologists pinpoint bleeding in the brain. The technique was invented by a radiologist and uses the powerful magnets of MRI to identify iron deposits that indicate bleeding.
