Medical Physicists Devise Method to Track Alzheimer's Progression

New software is allowing neuroscientists to monitor the physical spread of Alzheimer's in a living patient. The software assembles successive MRI scans into a 3D movie that can show the progression of the disease over the years, and can help determine if a patient's medication is working.
