Physiologists Show Dyslexic Brains Activate Differently During Reading

Dyslexic children activate different parts of the brain compared to non-dyslexic ones while reading, functional MRI imaging has shown. The study may help explain why dyslexic children visualize words differently and have an impaired ability to sound out words.
