Soy Solution for the Prostate

Urologists Say Extract from Soy May Stall Cancer

Genistein, a compound found in soy, disrupts the molecular mechanisms in prostate cancer cell and can even kill them. A small study on patients with untreated, slow-growing prostate cancer has shown that more than half the patients who took it saw a stabilization or a reduction in the levels of their PSA -- the main indicator of prostate cancer.
