Preserving Knocked-Out Teeth so Endodontists Can Reimplant Them

A new fist-aid kit can preserve the live tissue in a knocked-out tooth for up to four days, compared to the 15 minutes it would take for it to die. A small container with a solution containing glucose, calcium, and phosphate provides the tooth with nutrients, keeping it alive until an endodontist can reimplant it.
