Endocrinologists Find New Form of Sugar Safe for Diabetics

Endocrinologists are testing a new form of sugar, called D-tagatose, for patients with type-2 diabetes. Researchers found that type-2 diabetics can safely consume large quantities of D-tagatose without having as increase in their blood sugar levels. Meanwhile, another study found that D-tagatose might directly alleviate diabetic symptoms.
