Preventing Premature Births

Ob-Gyns Say Hormone Lowers Risk of Pre-Term Labor

Obstetrician-gynecologists are prescribing a new hormone therapy to prevent pre-term labor in high risk patients. The researchers are still trying to understand the link between hormones and early deliveries, but have found that the drug does improve the chances that the mother will carry her baby full term.
