Physicists Develop Wearable Computer to Help You Remember

A new "personal awareness assistant" can help you recall the name of the person you just met. The wearable computer is cued by common phrases and records that part of the conversation. In the future, the assistant could also use global positioning system technology to know when you are at the mall -- and remind you of things you've said you'd like to buy.
