Saline Solution for Liver Cancer

Surgical Oncologists Use High-Pressure Water Jet to Remove Tumors

Surgeons can now remove tumors without a scalpel. Using the Helix Hydrojet -- a high-intensity jet of saline solution that gets between the folds of the liver -- they are able to remove liver tumors without damaging surrounding nerves or vessels. The procedure causes less bleeding and helps patients recover faster.
