Submission Guidelines for Electronic FilesEPAPS files may be submitted to AIP using the following methods or media:
For submission via FTP and e-mail, please wait for specific instructions to be sent to you. All deposits require inclusion of a README file that provides information about all files included in the deposit, along with article and author information. There are no restrictions on the formats of files deposited; however, authors should keep in mind that files in commonly used formats, or those for which plug-ins are freely available, will be easiest for users to handle. Similarly, file extensions should be the standard for the format (e.g., ".txt" for a text file). See the Guide to Common File Types and Extensions for further information. The deposit fee covers deposits up to 20 MB, with additional space available at a per-megabyte rate. Service PoliciesAIP is not responsible for the content of electronically deposited material and will not provide technical support for their use. AIP Technical Staff provides no verification of file integrity or usability. Problems with file content should be directed to the depositor(s). Only the following technical assistance will be provided:
The author expressly authorizes AIP and its agent to reprint, publish, copy, translate, vend, or otherwise supply copies or derivatives of the supplied material to anyone, upon request, and warrants that (1) the author is the copyright holder or authorized agent of the copyright holder, or (2) if not the copyright holder or an agent thereof, the author must attach the authorization of the copyright holder. |
