House Committee on Education and the Workforce
The authorizing committee in the House for Department of Education programs, including those focusing on science and math education, is the House Committee on Education and the Workforce. In addition to the Department of Education, the National Science Foundation also funds programs in science and math education; its authorizing committee is the House Science Committee.
