In March 2003, the AIP Governing Board approved the following statement regarding the Department of Energy's Office of Science:The programs and national user facilities run by the DOE Office of
Science are vital to the nation's research investment across all disciplines
of science. The Energy Sciences Coalition (ESC) therefore encourages
the Administration and Congress to strengthen the nation's investment
in the Department of Energy's science programs and facilities by providing
a minimum of $3.6 Billion in funding for the DOE Office of Science
in FY 2004. |
