Tom W. Bonner Prize in Nuclear Physics
This prize was endowed in 1964 by friends, students, and associates of Rice University physicist Tom Bonner as a memorial to him. It is awarded by the American Physical Society to recognize and encourage outstanding experimental research in nuclear physics, including the development of a method, technique, or device that significantly contributes in a general way to nuclear physics research. It is currently worth $10,000.
