Scope and Contents of Collection

Proceedings, minutes, bylaws, clippings. The minutes and proceedings document the founding and early meetings of the Eastern Association of Physics Teachers, and include membership lists, lists of officers, newly admitted members, guests at association meetings, and topics in late 19th-early 20th century physics education, as well as announcements of meetings and mailings to members. The annually published by-laws (1900, 1903-1905) include a statement of purpose, constitution, list of current members and officers, and a list of association publications. The clippings are from popular press coverage of association meetings.
