Scope and Contents of Collection

This collection contains William Polk Jesse's notes on the lectures of Albert A. Michelson and Robert A. Millikan while he was a student at the University of Chicago. Notes include courses taught by Michelson: Mechanics and Wave Motion, Electricity and Magnetism, and Physical Opticsl; and courses taught by Millkan: Electron Theory, Quantum Theory, and Kinetic Theory.
