Sponsorship
Sponsoring a book, either in your own name or to honor or memorialize a friend, colleague, or family member, is a memorable way to help ensure our future.
For a gift of $75 (tax-deductible), it will be our pleasure to personally inscribe a handsome bookplate with your name or the name of a person you wish to honor. The bookplate will be placed in a book in the Niels Bohr Library & Archives. We will also send a copy of the bookplate to you and to the person whom you recognize, or to the family of the person whom you wish to have remembered, to let them know of your thoughtful gift.
Your gift may be used in one of two ways depending on your choice: to buy a new book to add to the Library's collection; or to restore and conserve a book that is already in the collection (many textbooks, instruments catalogs, teaching aids, and other materials, especially from the early to mid 20th century, are becoming brittle and will soon be unusable).
