It shows two honorary guests, Niels Bohr (left) and Lev Landau (right), along with three student activists: A. Sarvazian, the author of the physics department logo, I.S. Alekseev, who would later become a prominent historian and philosopher of science, and Yu. I. Gaponov, recently an organizer of conferences on the history of Soviet Atomic projects.
