A Big Boost for Niels Bohr Library Books

The Julian A. and Lois G. Brodsky Foundation, on behalf of the Brodsky Family, generously donated $25,000 to the History of Physics Endowment Fund for the purpose of purchasing books for the Center's Niels Bohr Library. Proceeds from this gift, along with other donations to our Bookplate program will be used to purchase old and recently released books for years to come. “Our family has greatly valued the many lessons learned from careful study of the history of science,” commented Marc H. Brodsky, Executive Director of AIP. “Our support of the Center’s Endowment Fund will help preserve this priceless history. We hope that others will follow our lead in giving generously to the Endowment Fund.”

If you are looking for the perfect gift for a physicist or historian whom you admire and respect (or in memory of one), consider dedicating a book or books for him in the Niels Bohr Library.
