Niels Bohr Library & Archives of the American Institute
of Physics holds more than a thousand tape-recorded interviews.
Many of the transcripts are now online. The interviews, conducted
by the staff of the AIP Center for History of Physics and
many other historians, offer unique insights into the lives,
works, and personalities of modern scientists. |

Transcripts Online
The
Niels Bohr Library & Archives is placing many of its oral
history interview transcripts online. This page will be updated
monthly. Interview transcripts that are not online can usually
be borrowed.
In the list below,  shows
where a short sample of the scientist’s voice accompanies
the transcript. List of Voice Clips
Online.Tape recordings of most of the rest are available
on loan.
The International
Catalog of Sources indexes these and many other interviews
in physics and allied fields, held in the Niels Bohr Library
and other repositories.
