The American Center for Physics (ACP) brings together in one building the American Institute of Physics, The American Physical
Society, the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. The American
Center for Physics is a building providing a permanent home for physisics near the Nation's Capital. But it is more than that. The
American Center for Physics is also a unifying force for the field of physics and the many programs of physics societies.
As a focal point for the physics community, ACP increases the community's iteractions with government decision-makers, and
serves as a resource for scientists, educators, and the public.
