2014 Prize for Industrial Applications of Physics

The Prize for Industrial Applications of Physics was established in 1977 by the American Institute of Physics to publicize the value of physics research in industry, to encourage physics research in industry, to enhance students' awareness of the role of physics in industrial research.

The prize, which is awarded biennially on behalf of the Corporate Associates of AIP consists of $10,000, an allowance for travel to receive the prize, and a certificate citing the contributions made by the recipient or recipients. The award is sponsored by the General Motors Corporation.
