AIP's Pricing Model – The American Institute of Physics (AIP) has implemented a six-tier pricing model for its journals, designed to provide non-research-oriented institutions with lower prices than those charged to research-intensive institutions. The same six-tier model is applied to Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data, published by AIP on behalf of National Institute of Standards and Technology.
