Subscription Terms
Most subscriptions for archival journals begin on January 1. Some subscriptions can begin upon receipt of order. For a list of these subscriptions, contact the , as indicated above. Subscriptions are accepted for a one-year term ONLY. No two- or three-year subscriptions or renewals are offered.
Payment
Advanced payment is required on all subscription orders submitted to the American Institute of Physics. Payment may be made via one of the following methods:
- Payment by check in U.S. Dollars drawn on a bank in the U.S. Please include your Order number (see renewal notice) with your payment and return it to AIP in the envelope provided.
- Payment by credit card. We accept American Express, VISA, and MasterCard. Complete the information on the bottom of the renewal notice and return it to AIP in the envelope provided.

Reference: Please be sure to reference the AIP Order number printed on your renewal notice, and instruct your bank to do the same.
Please note, any bank fees incurred as a result of electronically transferred payments are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Mark the renewal notice "PAID BY WIRE TRANSFER ON ______(enter date) by _____________ (Originating Bank Name)" and return it to AIP in the envelope provided. Although your order will not be marked as paid until the wire transfer is actually received, this information will help to insure proper credit and avoid any delays in processing.

Air Freight service is included for most subscriptions to the Eastern Hemisphere (Asia, Europe, Near and Middle East, Africa, and Oceania).
Satisfaction Guarantee
Requests for CANCELLATIONS or REFUNDS made after an order has been entered or service has commenced are subject to a cancellation fee and/or prorated by service already rendered. For some titles, cancellation deadlines apply. Please contact Customer Service for a list of these titles.
Change of Address
Change of address requests are expedited if you include the current mailing label or account number with notification of your new address. Please allow six to eight weeks for the change to become effective.
