Message from the Editors

Dear Colleague,

P. Craig Taylor and John A. TurnerWelcome to the second issue of JRSE NEWS. In an effort to keep you updated on recent developments with our new publication, Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, we want to let you know that we've begun to recruit Associate Editors to help us assign appropriate reviewers to the submitted manuscripts. We have eight on board at present, and their addition has resulted in a more rapid and efficient peer-review process. We hope to soon have at least one Associate Editor with expertise in each topical area covered by the journal.

In this edition of JRSE NEWS, we'd like to call your attention to the Featured Story – High Temperature Superconductors in Wind Turbines – and our Featured Article, Photocatalytic hydrogen production using titanium oxide in water.

We also hope that you check in with CLEAN — the official blog of the Journal of Renewable and Sustainable Energy, and listen to our latest Podcast, Converting Thermal Energy with Doped Buckyballs, with University of Wyoming professor, Dr. Jinke Tange.

We are pleased by the reception our new journal has received, and also by the number of you who have asked to receive this complimentary newsletter on a regular basis. If you haven't yet, but would like to, we invite you to sign up now.

Sincerely,

P. Craig Taylor
