- Submit all digests electronically, using the link found at the MMM-Intermag Home Page
(http://www.magnetism.org). The link will be available
starting July 27, 2009.
- Digests must be submitted prior to the August 24, 2009 deadline. This deadline will be strictly observed.
- The presenting author must be a paid registrant. The Conference does not provide support for any presentations.
- All digests must be submitted via the WEB. Digests sent via e-mail, fax, or regular mail, will not be
processed or acknowledged.
- Digests must be 2 pages or less, and are limited by the submission system. Figures/tables are permitted.
Decide if you prefer text or figures and work within the limit. Titles, authors, addresses, and references will
count in the two pages.
- The digest must show the main results and indicate that the work is essentially complete.
- Follow the submission procedures which will be available at each step of the process. If you have questions,
please contact the AIP Coordinator at the e-mail address:
magnet@aip.org or use the help icon on the web page.
- Follow instructions on the allowed file formats for the digest submission. Only formats described in the
instructions will be accepted.
- Submit your digest only once.
- A draft mode will be available until the deadline. This permits authors to continue editing at a later time.
If you change your mind about the digest, you may withdraw it and submit a new one. All information about this
process will be available online. The Draft mode will be closed on August 24, 2009. All drafts will be deleted
on that date.
- Be sure to provide a clear and correct e-mail address for the corresponding author and provide all other
information requested on the electronic form. Use upper and lower case characters. (Do not use all upper case).
This e-mail address will be used to notify you of acceptance. Acronyms of institution names are acceptable. Be
sure to type your first and last names in the proper boxes. If your name is transposed we will be unable to
locate you.
- The web submission system will automatically produce your digest in the proper format for publication in
the Digest CD. You may copy and paste your digest (without formatting or TeX characters) into the space provided
on the website. Figures need to be uploaded. The version you view and edit on the screen is a facsimile.
- Acknowledgment of your submission will be sent via e-mail. If you do not receive this e-mail confirmation,
your digest is not submitted.
- Following construction of the Program, the digests will appear online at the Conference website in a
searchable format.
- Digest acceptance will be announced via e-mail. Authors will be advised as to the status of their submission
by September 2009.
- The presenting author must be a paid registrant. The Conference does not provide support for any presentations.
