PACS 2008 - SPECIAL EDITION
This special edition of PACS® is the earliest available copy of the revised 2008 scheme. This edition contains embedded mapping instructions for transforming the deleted 2006 PACS codes into the new 2008 codes. The deleted codes have USE instructions, directing the user to one or more possible codes in the 2008 PACS scheme.
In this Special Edition:
- New codes have N preceding the code and are colored green.
- Deleted codes have D preceding the code and are colored red.
- Modified codes are preceded by M and are colored yellow.
- The original text of Modified codes is preceded with S for Superseded.
- The unchanged codes are not preceded by any letter and are carried over from the 2006 Edition of PACS.
