Nuclides Galore
Chart showing nuclides observed in an experiment at GSI in which a
beam of uranium ions collided with a target of liquid hydrogen. The
cross sections (proportional to the likelihood) for producing the specific
nuclides are color coded and expressed in units of “barns.”
