Atom Wave Cloaking

A schematic of the atom wave cloaking system. The circular object is cloaked by the concentric optical lattices, i.e. optical standing wave along the radial direction. To reach the cloaking condition, the amplitude of the optical lattice needs to be spatially controlled. The black curves represents the trajectories of atoms traversing through the system. The cold atoms are conformally bent around the object without change of trajectories or scattering.
