A flexible active-matrix OLED display was fabricated by Universal Display Corporation in collaboration with LG Display. The prototype is a 4-inch quarter VGA, 100 ppi full-color OLED display. Built on 76-micron thick metal foil, the display offers 256 grey scale levels per color (8 bit), and can portray a variety of images, including full-motion video.
