The Tire Society Selects the Online Hosting Facilities of AIP Publishing ServicesMELVILLE, NEW YORK, 30 September 2005 The American Institute of Physics (AIP) announced today that starting with the first issue of 2006, The Tire Society has chosen AIP Publishing Services to handle production for the online version of its journal, Tire Science and Technology, an authoritative publication that delivers critically-reviewed articles quarterly. The Society has also chosen AIP’s Scitation platform (www.scitation.org) to host current issues of its journal, as well as back issues. "Bringing Tire Science and Technology online provides our constituent community with a long-awaited resource, offering our members all the advantages of electronic publishing," said Hamid Aboutorabi, President of The Tire Society.
