The American Institute of Physics offers its authors Author Select®, an open access initiative.

After downloading the appropriate Author Select® form from the choices above:

1. print it;
   
2. complete it in full (include manuscript code number and AIP ID, if known);
   
3. sign it;
   
4. FAX it to AIP Customer Service at 717-285-0650.

AIP Transfer of Copyright Agreement Form—Instructions

Under U.S. copyright law, a transfer of copyright from the author(s) must be explicitly stated in writing to enable the publisher to disseminate the work to the fullest extent.  AIP requires its form executed and returned prior to publication.

After downloading the AIP Copyright Agreement form:

1. print it;
2. complete it in full (include manuscript code number and AIP ID, if known);
3. sign it;
4. send it to AIP in one of the following ways:

   2. as a scan attached to an e-mail message to the Production Staff, as follows:
