Chaotic Voices (Edition 40, No. 6) A raspy voice can sometimes point to disease--throat cancer or polyps or even stroke damage. To monitor such conditions, one grad student has developed a technique to test for even the barest hints of an altered voice.

When the file downloads (in broadcast quality) make note of where on your hard drive the file is saved; most often it will be saved in a directory called TEMP.
