| Do you have any questions about the academic employment of physicists? Then call Rachel Ivie. She conducts the Academic Workforce Survey every two years. Rachel can give you data about faculty size, turnover, and retirements. In addition, she can provide data about women in physics and about the types of physicists hired by colleges and universities. Rachel is also conducting a new survey of the education and employment of people who received bachelor's degrees in physics during 1991, 1992, and 1993. |
