Women Physicists Speak Again
More than 1350 women physicists from more than 70 countries answered a survey conducted in connection with the Second IUPAP International Conference of Women in Physics. The report covers women physicists’ experiences in education and careers. Comparisons are made between women from developed and developing countries.

Physics Students From Abroad: Monitoring the Continuing Impact of Visa Problems
This 12 page report documents the impact of visa regulations on international students in US physics graduate programs during the Fall of 2004. It quantifies the number of first-year international students who enrolled and the proportion who were denied entrance or substantially delayed due to visa difficulties. The report describes changes in visa denial rates and international student enrollment patterns compared to two years earlier. It also discusses the visa problems experienced by non-US citizen faculty, postdocs and previously enrolled students when they tried to return from travel abroad.

International Students in Geoscience Graduate Programs
This report contains the findings from a nationwide survey of Phd-granting and MS-granting departments in the geosciences. The report provides data on the representation of international students in the geosciences over time as well as the impact of new visa regulations on recent enrollment of graduate students from other countries.

Physics Students From Abroad in the Post-9/11 Era
A report on a recent survey of graduate physics departments nationwide. A look at the impact of new visa regulations in the post-9/11 era on students from other countries.

Women Physicists Speak: The 2001 International Study of Women in Physics
This report contains findings from an international survey of over 1,000 women physicists from 55 countries. The study was conducted as part of a larger effort carried out by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) and was supported by grants from NSF and DOE to the American Physical Society.
