APS Seeking Advocacy Associate and Policy Intern

The American Physical Society’s Office of Government Affairs is hiring a grassroots advocacy associate and a science policy intern. The advocacy associate will coordinate all of the society’s efforts to mobilize its members on policy issues that impact the physics community. Individuals that have experience with the legislative or executive branch and an understanding of professional societies are encouraged to apply. The science policy intern will support the office’s staff on a variety of projects for up to six months. A bachelor’s degree is required for the position and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
