AAAS S&T Policy Fellowship Application Now Open
The American Association for the Advancement of Science is accepting applications for 2019-2020 S&T Policy Fellowship. Fellows spend a year at a federal agency or congressional office in Washington, D.C., gaining experience in the policymaking process. Interested applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent-level degree or a M.S. in engineering with three years of engineering experience in order to qualify.
National Academies Accepting Applications for Mirzayan Science Policy Fellowship
The National Academies is now accepting applications for the 2019 Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program. Fellows spend 12 weeks at the National Academies in Washington, D.C., learning about the role of science in federal policymaking and gaining hands-on experience working for a committee or board. Interested individuals who have earned a graduate degree in a STEM-related field within the last five years are encouraged to apply.
NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program
Pacific Northwest National Laboratory is accepting applications for the 2019 National Nuclear Security Administration Graduate Fellowship Program. Fellows spend a year in an NNSA program or site office where they contribute technical and policy expertise to activities ranging from strategy development to project implementation. Recent graduates or current students focused on policy or technical fields are encouraged to apply.
