The Atmospheric Science Librarians International (ASLI) held their 18th meeting January 7-8, 2015 in Phoenix, as part of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) annual conference. Science librarians from academic libraries, government facilities, industry and publishers met to discuss “Fulfilling the Vision of Weather, Water, and Climate Information for Every Need, Time and Place.” Many of the sessions focused on supporting atmospheric scientists within organizations, building appropriate collections in the face of shrinking budgets and collaborating across institutions and disciplines.

NBLA Assistant Librarian Elaina Vitale attended and presented with AMS librarian Jinny Nathans on the new relationship and future collaborations between AIP and AMS.
