Christa Hasenkopf is serving as the AIP 2013-14 State Department Fellow. Hasenkopf, a member of AGU, has most recently been studying air pollution in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She received her PhD in atmospheric science from the University of Colorado in 2011. Christa is working at USAID in the Office of Science and Technology as part of a team that will be creating a research and innovation fellowship program. The American Astronomical Society provides partial funding for this fellowship.
