On February 16, Andrew Grant took over as online editor of Physics Today. Grant, an award-winning writer who holds a master’s degree from New York University in science journalism, has written for numerous publications, including Science News and Discover magazine. In his new position, one of his first projects has been to start a weekly blog called Extra Dimensions. In his posts Grant plans to offer fresh perspectives on recent developments in physics and the related sciences and explore the physics behind events in the news. His first post, which centered on the physics of baseball, has been the most read article on PT’s website since it was published.
