Federal Labs Modernization Act of 2019
Purpose
To amend the America COMPETES Act to strengthen reporting requirements relating to deficiencies in Federal research infrastructure, and for other purposes.
Summary of Selected Provisions
- Directs the Government Accountability Office to produce a biennial report that identifies which federal facilities are in “most critical need of repair” and that estimates the costs necessary to repair or renovate them
