                                    Purpose
                                        To require the Secretary of Energy to establish a program for the research, development, and demonstration of commercially viable technologies for the capture of carbon dioxide produced during the generation of natural gas-generated power.
                                    Summary of Selected Provisions
                                        - Requires the Department of Energy to support research, development, and demonstration of carbon capture technologies for power plants that use natural gas
- Directs DOE to enter into cooperative agreements for piloting carbon capture technologies at three or more electricity generation facilities by October 2025
- Recommends DOE provide up to $50 million per year from fiscal years 2020 to 2025 to carry out the program
