STEM K to Career Act
Purpose
To provide for loan forgiveness for STEM teachers, and for other purposes.
Summary of Selected Provisions
- Provides loan forgiveness to eligible full-time STEM educators
- Creates a tax credit for certain employers that hire STEM interns
- Requires that universities use at least 7% of the federal work-study program funds they receive to compensate students employed in STEM fields
